Welcome to TEXAVET — Houston's Affordable Walk-In Pet Clinic
At TEXAVET, we believe that everyone should be able to benefit from having a pet as a beloved family member. Unfortunately, the increased cost of routine veterinary care has placed the option of responsible pet ownership outside the means of many people. As a Texas-owned mobile veterinary clinic, TEXAVET strives to change that by offering affordable preventive veterinary care at low-cost pet vaccine clinics that operate in our partner vendors’ parking lots throughout the Greater Houston area – including Houston, Spring, Cypress, and New Caney. We bring affordable vaccines, parasite control, and heartworm testing to dogs and cats within our local communities.
We're Proud to Provide Veterinary Services for Dogs & Cats Across North Houston, Texas
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Visiting a walk-in pet clinic for the first time in Houston is simple and stress-free. Here’s exactly what happens from the moment you arrive:

Arrive, No Appointment Needed
No need to pre-register – we are first come, first served! Just arrive with your pet in a climate-controlled vehicle and your cat in a carrier. No appointment is ever needed at any of our weekend walk-in vet clinics across Houston. If you have prior medical records, please bring them, if not, our technicians are on site to help determine which vaccines will keep your pet healthy. We also have bilingual staff at every clinic to serve our Spanish-speaking Houston families.

Check In & Get in Line
Head to the check-in table to complete registration and start your pet’s medical chart. Be sure to pick up a slip lead for your dog, it’s required during your visit. This gets your place in line, and you’re welcome to stay cool and comfortable in your vehicle while you wait to be called by a technician.

Pet Exam & Vaccine Preparation
When called, you can share your pet’s vaccination history with our team. We’ll review it, confirm it matches your pet’s current needs, weigh your pet, and prepare the appropriate vaccines and preventive care treatments. Don’t forget to have that slip lead on your dog, safety is always our priority.

Vaccinations & Heartworm Testing
Our technician, working directly with the licensed veterinarian, will call you to the table and take over holding your pet while we administer vaccines and test for heartworm disease. Please allow our staff to handle your pet during this step, it keeps things safe and efficient for everyone.

Check Out & Receive Your Pet's Medical Records
Return to your vehicle with your pet and wait for our checkout team to call you. They’ll collect payment and provide you with a copy of your pet’s medical records, useful for future grooming, boarding, travel, or just keeping at home for reference.
