About TEXAVET

Unfortunately, the increased cost of routine veterinary care has placed the option of responsible pet ownership outside the means of many people. TEXAVET strives to change that by offering affordable preventive veterinary care at low-cost pet vaccine clinics that operate in partner vendors’ parking lots throughout the Greater Houston area. We bring affordable vaccines, parasite control, and heartworm testing to dogs and cats within our local communities.

Veterinary Technician — Houston Area Weekend Clinics
About the Role:
TEXAVET is seeking dedicated Veterinary Technicians to join our weekend mobile clinic team. There are two areas of focus within this role, both contributing to our mission of delivering quality preventive care in a fast-paced, community-facing environment.
Restraint Technician – Work alongside the veterinarian to ensure all animals are safe and comfortable during heartworm testing and vaccinations, and inform pet owners of any vaccine reactions.
Client Technician – Conduct pet history interviews with owners, educate on best-practice vaccination schedules based on history and age, advise on the importance of prevention medications, weigh patients, pull vaccines, and prepare charts for veterinarian administration.
Location & Schedule:
Clinics operate Saturday and Sunday only across North Houston, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Conroe, Humble, and Katy. We are looking for candidates who are punctual, reliable, and passionate about helping the pets and families of the Greater Houston area.
Requirements:
Reliable Transportation
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to remain on feet for extended periods
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
Experience in customer service and veterinary training
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus — our clinics serve both English and Spanish-speaking Houston families
Customer Service Representative — Houston Area Weekend Clinics
About the Role:
TEXAVET is seeking friendly, organized Customer Service Representatives to be the face of our clinic for pet owners. There are two areas of focus within this role.
Check- In Representative – First point of contact for pet owners visiting our walk-in mobile vet clinic. Provide each client with a chart to begin their care process, ensure all required information is recorded accurately, and place clients in line for services.
Check-Out Representative – Final point of contact for pet owners. Finalize visit documentation, collect signatures, distribute purchased products with accurate patient information, and process payments.
Location & Schedule:
Clinics operate Saturday and Sunday only across North Houston, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Conroe, Humble, and Katy. We are looking for candidates who are punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic about serving the Greater Houston pet community.
